Our Proven 4-Step Engineering Process
Step 1: Consultation & Disassembly
It starts with your requirements. We select an optimal Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) donor panel, planning the cut around the essential row and column drivers. The panel is then carefully disassembled in a clean environment.
Step 2: Precision Glass Cutting
Using a diamond-wheel scribe, we create a microscopic score line on the glass substrate. This allows for a clean, precise break that does not damage the delicate internal thin-film transistors or pixel structures.
Step 3: Proprietary Resealing
This is the heart of our patented technology. We apply a proprietary polymer resin to the newly cut edge to create a new, hermetic seal. This dam contains the liquid crystal and is cured to form a permanent, durable bond.
Step 4: Reassembly & Qualification Testing
The newly sealed LCD is reassembled and undergoes rigorous qualification testing, including life-cycle and thermal shock tests, to validate its performance and ensure it meets the highest standards for military, avionics, and industrial use.
